Photographic Safari with a Professional Photographer
This safari is aimed at the avid photographer who wants to learn how to make the most of their camera equipment, what makes for the perfect shot, shot selection and framing, light conditions, etc.
The sessions will include information on wildlife subjects as well as landscape photography and the right equipment for the occasion.
The safari is conducted over 4 days and three nights. Safaris are all in the Kruger National Park, accommodation is just outside Kruger Park, in a conservancy, or in Kruger if available.
The itinerary would be as follows:
Day One – arrival, introduction, equipment evaluation, dinner
Day Two – early start (before sunrise) safari into Kruger, taking pictures of whatever we can track down,
breakfast in Kruger, back to our accommodation for lunch. Rest till late afternoon, sundowner drive in conservancy, early dinner, evaluation of pics taken during the day, Q&A session.
Day Three – early start for a bush walk in Kruger – practice your macro shots of flowers, plants, insects, spoor, etc. Back to accommodation for breakfast. Evaluate pics, rest till late afternoon before night drive in Kruger to practice your night time photography, dinner.
Day Four – you can sleep in a bit, breakfast at 8:00am, final picture evaluation and discussion. Depart.
